||Baltistan Elementary Examination Cell DoEB has announced the consolidated results of Class 5th and 8th.|| There were total 11715 regular candidates appeared in Examination. In Class 8th 4597 out of which 4004 passed and 593 failed while the passing percentage remained 87%. In 5th class exams, total 7118 regular students participated out of which 4503 passed and 2615 failed while result of 5th class remained 63%.||Note: The result of Private candidates will be uploaded. Educational Background of Gilgit Baltistan
In Gilgit Baltistan major education provider is Government with 1672 schools with 151508 student and 5870 teachers, 15 Colleges with 6233 & 200 teaching staff and 01 University, however private sector is also playing pivotal role with 532 Schools with enrolment 73800 enrolment and 3328 teachers; 41 colleges with 3843 student and one professional development center (PDCN) run under supervision of Aga Khan University Karachi.
The concept of ECE is a new concept in government sector but the same is being practices in private sector since long and getting better results.
